Find your Mac's serial number
Usually the serial number is printed on the bottom of the laptop. You can also find it by following these instructions:
1. Click on the in the top left corner.
2. Select About this Mac in the Apple menu.
3. Double-click the version text, for example "Version 10.9".
Your computer's serial number now appears where the version text had been.
