That’s right, Lovefone have created a new shop in Greenwich where you can get your iPhone or Nexus smartphone repaired in an iconic British red telephone box or a ‘Lovefonebox’.
Many telephone boxes across London have been neglected over the years so we thought we could breathe some new life into them by utilising these landmarks which have become more obsolete with the invention of mobile technology. People seem to like the idea and we’ve had some great support from the locals and media:
To celebrate the launch of our tiny new store, we’ve created ‘The Chronicles of the Phone Box’, an interactive journey through the history of the telephone box, showing its origin and evolution through the ages.
The first Lovefonebox is at 291 Greenwich High Road SE10 8NA, opposite The Mitre pub (great excuse to have a drink whilst you wait!) We’re open from 10am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
Come and visit our tiny repair shop for a high quality, speedy phone repair on or just say hi and charge your phone for free. For a limited time only, we’re offering up to 50% off repairs. Fortunate for the less-fortunate among you!
If you’re walking past the phone box, help us spread the word by sharing a picture with our tiny repair shop on Instagram or Twitter with the hashtag #Lovefonebox and we’ll choose someone a £25 iTunes gift card!
