Every autumn, in September, Apple has released a new iPhone. Apple releases an iPhone every year starting with 2007, but this year Apple launched two iPhones: iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. Both of them are improved versions of older iPhone models, one designed for the smartphone buyer who wants better features, and another one of the ones who want a funny, bright and cheap iPhone. The new iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c have different colours in comparison with the iPhone 5, but apart from this, the exterior is quite similar. Of course, the significant differences are inside, and you can read more about in our post. There are other slightly differences too - iPhone 5c is a little bit bigger and heavier than iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s because of the plastic cover. Speaking about the inside features, iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c are superior to their old ancestor, iPhone 5. Overview iPhone 5s comes available in silver, gold and grey, has an A7 processor chip and a Touch ID fingerprint sensor, fast wireless, iSight camera and iOS 7. iPhone 5c is available in five colours: green, blue, pink, yellow and white, has an A6 chip, fast wireless, iSight camera and iOS 7. The old iPhone models (iPhone 5, iPhone 4s and iPhone 4) come in black and white, have an A5 processor chip, iSight camera and Siri. The new iOS 7 operating system can be updated on the old models too. Unfortunately, iPhone 3g and iPhone 3gs will not be able to use it. Both iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c come with a retina display, video recording, face detection, tap to focus, FaceTime Camera, video calling and Siri intelligent assistant. They are both compatible with 4G LTE, which means that the phone will work with higher speeds no matter where you go. A deeper look iPhone 5s The super-fast A7 processor makes everything move faster, from apps to Safari and iTunes to games. The A7 on the 5S can handle data more efficiently with a 64-bit format, rather than the 32 bits that normal phone use. The new 8MP camera powered by the new processor deals with a significant and large sensor and more pixels. At the moment, there is only one smartphone (HTC) out on the market which has bigger pixels. The iPhone 5s camera can shoot HD videos, let you watch slow motion playback and has a great dual-LED flash that shoots two different lights at once. The iPhone 5s camera picks up light better than the old camera, and this is useful indoors and during night time. On the other hand, the flash from the camera adjusts to a whitish and an amber light at the same time, depending on the lighting conditions. All these results in better skin tones and more natural colours. The third great innovation of the iPhone 5s is the fingerprint sensor hidden behind the home button. The way in which it works is simple: the home button of the 5S recognizes your prints and unlocks your iPhone, instead of asking your passcode anymore.
iPhone 5c The iPhone 5c is a middle-range priced phone that looks lively and classy. It has a better battery than iPhone 5 and an improved camera. The plastic case comes in five dazzling colours and the background wallpaper from the screen matches the colour chosen. So let's say you got a blue phone, and if the blue wallpaper gets annoying, you can change it to the Apple’s standard wallpaper or a photo you like. The new iSight camera helps the FaceTime audio to work better and have a qualitative sound than traditional voice calls.
Both iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c are remarkable and have stunning improvements in comparison to older iPhone versions. iPhone 5s is the best smartphone ever while iPhone 5 is vivid, fun and classy. Are you planning to buy one of the new iPhones? Which one do you prefer and why?
