We started Lovefone with just a few things in mind: to offer convenience, peace of mind and great value for our customers. Very early on, we noticed that though some of our customers needed a repair urgently, they just didn’t have the time to come to our workshop and use our while-you-wait service. They also didn’t really want to use our nationwide express mail service, as it would mean being apart from their device for about 40–48 hours. We needed to come up with another solution – something quick, easy and reliable. And so the courier service was born. So how does it work? In keeping with our customers’ needs, arranging an iPad or iPhone courier repair in London is very simple. You select your repair on our website and submit your key details: repair date, time and address. As soon as this happens, we receive a notification and get in touch with you to confirm everything, including the pricing. Once we’ve okayed everything with you, all you have to do is drop your device off at your office reception (if you have one) and we do the rest! We will now book the collection of your device using a secure and speedy courier service. The device should then quickly be collected and then dropped at one of our workshops. We immediately proceed with your repair, which usually takes less than one hour. As soon as the repair is complete, we book another courier service to return the phone to you. Most of the time this service takes under three hours, though it of course depends on your location. The London courier service is available for customers in zone 1 and 2 in London, so that we can ensure it is both quick and affordable. The extra charge for this service – compared to our while-you-wait repair – is only the cost of the courier. For Zone 1 this is usually only £7, both ways. For Zone 2 and Canary Wharf, the charge is usually about £15.
