Things you can try before booking a repair

Sometimes the iPhone software might freeze: the screen will be completely black and the phone will be completely unresponsive. To reset the iPhone, press and hold the home button and power button for 10 seconds, release them and power on the iPhone by pressing the power button. If the phone doesn’t now display an Apple logo as it boots up, you may need a screen replacement.
